DOLLARD-DES-ORMEAUX DISTRICT

By landscaping Centennial Park in the early 1970s, the municipality created an oasis of fauna and flora and a beautiful recreation area of 120 acres around an artificial lake. At the heart of the City, adjacent to the City Hall, is the Civic Centre which houses three skating rinks, two indoor swimming pools, the Cultural Centre with a reception hall, an art gallery, and large library. A community centre, complete with a banquet hall and offices, was added in 2002.
